Transport yourself to the island paradise of Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands. Once there you will have a range of beautiful beaches to choose from and diving enthusiasts can seek out some great underwater experiences.

Venture out on an RIB with qualified boat handlers and enjoy several of the dive sites on offer. Los Chucos is known as the stingray site since as you descend into the deep many species of ray will greet you including butterfly, atlantic, common and eagle. Venture towards the small wreck here and you can witness moray eels and small puffer fish as well.

Black Coral Arch is a beautifully scenic dive site where you can float through an arch covered in black coral – a truly intriguing site for experienced divers. Barracuda are visible in their shoals while groupers and large stingrays also frequent this site.

The Ali Ba Ba Cavern lives up to its name with a treasure trove of delights just waiting to be uncovered. A volcanic cave of soft corals houses bright red shrimps and grouper and you can admire the beautiful underwater rock formations. Cameras and torches are recommended here, you will definitely want to capture this moment so that you can relive the colour and textures time and again.

Wreck diving is also available off the coast of Tenerife with the Condosita Wreck proving popular at around 18m below the surface. The forward hold offers easy access to the wreck and there is much marine life inside.

Book your flights to Tenerife now and explore a whole other world beneath the waves.
